Walk n Wag operates from their own facility in Dubai, where they provide pet care services like daycare, walks, and overnight stays—all managed by their in-house team of trained dog handlers. In Phase 2, our goal was to reduce booking friction for returning clients and build a smoother, more consistent experience.

Most users dropped off because they had to rebook the same services repeatedly every week. This made the experience tedious and increased the risk of churn, especially among busy pet parents.

To streamline a complex booking flow for Walk n Wag, I used AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude to co-create high-fidelity wireframes. This accelerated clarity, reduced iteration cycles, and ensured alignment with both user needs and business goals.

Enabled users to set once and repeat weekly schedules for daycare/overnight servicessaving time and reducing churn.

    Allowed users to renew past bookings with one tap, perfect for those resuming routines after a break.

    Users could seamlessly extend ongoing bookings without restarting the process.

  • Cancel Booking Flow
    A frictionless cancellation process to reduce customer support load and increase transparency.

  • Handler-side Checkout Flow
    Optimized for service providers to log services quickly and accurately.

  • Smart Notifications
    Personalized reminders for booking renewals, check-ins, and check-outsimproving engagement.

Making Everyday Actions Feel Delightful 🐾

To elevate the experience beyond basic form-filling, we added personality and warmth to the authentication and booking flows. Instead of a dry login, we used a playful image of a dog with glasses and a phone and a handshake defining trust , creating an instant emotional connection with pet lovers.

We also introduced subtle visual cueslike paw-shaped radio buttons for selecting dogsturning routine UI elements into brand-aligned micro-moments. These little touches made the app feel more charming and intuitive, helping users move through steps with a smile.
